CURRICULUM

The main approach used in the teaching of English Language is STELLAR (Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading). The curriculum focuses on strengthening the following skills:

  • Listening

  • Speaking

  • Reading

  • writing

CZ Reading Programmes:

To support the STELLAR curriculum, the school aims to encourage students to read widely through planned school – wide reading programmes. Students can search for books in the CZPS Library by accessing the CZPS Library Catalogue online (https://schoolibrary.moe.edu.sg/chongzhengpri) and the NLB Discover Reads: (https://childrenandteens.nlb.gov.sg

ICT Infusion:

ICT is used pervasively to help support the teaching and learning of the English curriculum.
