CZPS Art Department strives to build students' confidence and skills in self-expression through diverse artistic approaches, ensuring active participation for everyone. It also fosters creativity, encouraging students to innovate and think imaginatively. Opportunities like internal and external competitions are offered to all students to showcase and develop their artistic talents.

2. P4 Cohort Museum-Based Learning (MBL) and Journey to National Gallery Singapore (NGS)

This educational journey is an integral part of the Primary Art Syllabus, offering our P4 students a deeply immersive and enriching experience. During this journey, students will:

• Showcase how their artistic ideas are shaped by the MBL experience.

• Enhance their inquiry skills by asking thoughtful questions about selected Singaporean artworks.

• Recall the titles and stories behind each featured artwork; and

• Gain insight into how artists use their work to tell stories about Singapore’s heritage and culture.

3. PAM Festival

Each year, our school hosts a vibrant, week-long Art Festival, filled with a variety of creative activities for students to enjoy during recess. Throughout the week, specially designed art lessons are conducted to inspire students and deepen their artistic skills. The event culminates in a unique integration of PE and Art, where students get to apply both disciplines by designing and crafting their own medals or trophies. This exciting blend of creativity and physical education encourages self-expression, teamwork, and a sense of achievement for all participants.
