Description :

CZPS Art and Craft is a vibrant platform that brings together students with a passion for art, encouraging them to express their creativity through various mediums.

Our weekly sessions, led by experienced Art Vendor and guided by dedicated Art teachers, offer students the chance to explore diverse techniques and materials like paint, wire, batik dyes, printing ink, and mixed media.

Students engage in hands-on activities, experimenting with art forms such as metal tooling, silk screen printing, batik, acrylic painting, and quilling. These experiences nurture their creativity, artistic skills, and self-expression.

In addition, our annual art learning journeys enrich students’ understanding of the arts in Singapore. These trips expand their knowledge of local history and highlight the works of Singaporean artists and also appreciate works of masters.

Art Club also includes the Community Enrichment Programme (CEP) and Community Involvement Programme (CIP), where students gain valuable experiences that further enhance their artistic growth while giving back to the community.

Achievements for the past few years: 

We are pleased to share the following good news;

1. Our P5s and P6s, - Category C Mixed Media Artwork, were selected for SYF Arts Presentation 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Our Cat A was selected in 2021 and Cat B are also in the online and print SYF Journals for 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.

2. Art Community

   SYF Arts Presentation	2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023 All 3 Categories - Cat A ,B C are in the online and print SYF Journals for all 4 years .	Category ‘C’ were selected for onsite exhibition in all 4 years. Category ‘A’ was selected for onsite exhibition for 2021.
   CEP	2017 – Totem 2018 – Payong Batik 1000 display 2019 –Chingay 2020 – Building the Bridge of Harmony	All collaboration between Passion Arts and CZPS were exhibited onsite.
   CIP	2018 – Arts Fiesta @ Poly View Cip Project of HDB Friendly Faces Lively Places (FFLP)	Art Club members facilitated and assisted an acrylic painting activity
   Competitions	2017 – Downtown Line 3 DTL3 Postcard Design Competition	2 pupils won and had their designs printed on postcards.
